As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, our firm is committed to making pro-bono contributions to two very significant projects of the World Bank every year, “Women, Business and the Law” and “Business Ready”, by answering in-depth questionnaires and providing insight on the application of Cyprus laws on certain areas of interest such as business law and employment law.
Women, Business and the Law is a global benchmarking project that provides comprehensive and comparable data on how laws, regulations, and policies affect women’s economic opportunities and private sector development in 190 economies. Women, Business and the Law demonstrates the progress made while emphasizing the work still to be done to ensure economic prosperity for all.
Business Ready is a project that assesses the business and investment climate worldwide. It aims to provide a comprehensive, quantitative evaluation of the regulatory environment and public services affecting firms, replacing the former Doing Business project. B-READY focuses on promoting private sector development by informing policy reforms and providing data for sound policy advice.
